My life

I have spent most of my life on the computer ever since I discovered how to use the Internet and got my own computer with a faster connection. Since then I have enjoyed most of my time online viewing tech related sites and posting on message boards. Reading online articles from sites such as Digg and do what almost everyone does now which is Facebook and Twitter. I am trying to pursue a career in the IT field, whether its Software Development, Network Administrator etc etc… Anything to do with the IT field I am interested in.

After taking Project Management at Humber College, I developed an interest in pursuing that area of expertise so if I can get a role in that position, that would be awesome. But first I need to gain some experience in the IT field before I can become a Project Manager in IT.

I attained most of my knowledge in computers, coding and graphics by visiting various forums, reading online tutorials and playing around with them during my free time.

Like all other Gamers out there, I also enjoy playing console games but still prefer a good PC game over anything else even though I own a PSP, PS2, PS3, Nintendo DS Lite, XBox and XBox 360. I have sampled various types of PC games and have found FPS to be best with RTS in second. I recently got into MMOG (Massive Multiplayer Online Game) playing the ever so popular yet old game World of Warcraft (Not exactly old if you consider the fact the second expansion Wrath of the Lich King was released on November 2008. But it wouldn’t be my first MMO or RPG game. Conquer Online would be the first but I have stopped playing it since it was pretty boring. I’m on and off with WOW. For some reason when I subscribe to it, after a while I get bored of it. However, when I discontinue the service, I find myself missing the game. LOL

I am hoping to pursue a career working with computers such as software development, game development, networking or just a regular computer technician, repairing and building systems for clients. This is the reason why I just don’t limit my knowledge to one primary field of study and learn the other two whenever I have free time. I am currently enrolled in Humber College to study and obtain a diploma to prove to the world that I am capable of doing the job well. According to one of my professor, Humber is the “Harvard” of colleges in Ontario.

My Life besides the computer

A life of a computer geek has no life. It revolves around the computer and the computer alone. With a multi-monitor set up and all the best games released there is not much time to socialize… haha j.k I usually do go out with friends after work for either dinner, play video games, have a drink or play bowling/pool. Or just randomly outtings to chill at friends house. Never mine, my room is too messy to host guest over.

Anime

I love anime, I’ve watched a lot of anime series and I still have a lot more to watch. I started watching anime when I was a kid, so I guess you can say I grew up watching anime. The first anime series I watched were Dragonball and Sailor Moon (Usually with my cousins). Then Dragonball Z, GT, Gundam Wing. Since then I’ve watched series like Devil May Cry, Gundam Seed, Destiny, Gundam 00 etc etc. Too many to list. I have Been to Anime North 07, Anime North 08 and most recently Anime North 2009. I am planning on going to future Anime North conventions because I had alot of fun in the previous 3. I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow watching anime, I don’t even think it’s possible!
