Otterbox experience
I am very impressed with the service Otterbox provides for their products. Granted that I’ve had a few bad experience with the product itself, overall the Otterbox is a great product nonetheless.
I started using the Otterbox when I got the 9700 Bold. That was a great case. I could toss it and it wouldnt break. Then I switched to the 9800 Torch. Obviously I got the Otterbox commuter case when it was made available.
The otterbox case for the 9800 is slightly different from the 9700 case since the Bold is one piece and the 9800 torch has 2 pieces. Since it is a slider phone one piece is for the body while the second piece is for the screen portion of the phone.
The body protection is very tough while the screen portion I would say is the weakest link. That piece i’ve had the most issue with since that is where it broke twice.
When that happened I contacted Otterbox and explained my situation with them. They responded within a few hours apologizing about the bad experience like it was somehow their fault. They asked me to provide them with more information such as my address, number etc… They responded very quickly again letting me know that they are sending me a replacement unit for the broken case. They did not even ask me to send the broken case back unit to them or ask about original receipt. The important thing is that my case broke and they sent me a new case within a few days and now my case is once again protected.. 
Great service from Otterbox. Will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a protective case…
My Corsair shipment!!
My shipment of goodies from Corsair finally arrived via UPS today. Thanks to the Partner EPP I was able to get some nice deals on a new Power Supply and Cooler.. I decided to get the 750AX and H70 cooler. They are suppose to go into my new Sandy Bridge system that I was suppose to be getting within the next few weeks to 2 months. But that has been put on hold because of the Intel chipset issue.. Stupid Intel.. LOL oh wells. I’m going to wait for the i7 8 core (16 thread) cpu now. Its uber overkill but since I’m going to wait that long I might as well same a little more money for it.. haha!!
I havent opened the products from the packaging yet. but I might install it on my current AMD system for the time being and replace the stock cooler and aging OCZ power supply. but then again I might get lazy and not do it tomorrow… :p
I also picked up the Razer Mamba mouse to replace my G9 mouse. Its different and will take time to get used to. but now I have the Razer set.. All i need now is a new mousepad and i’m set…
Project Sandy Bridge….. Delayed…
So I was planning to upgrade my system from AMD to Intel within the next few weeks with the recently released Sandy Bridge processors and chipset from Intel. the P67..
Was going to pair it up with the Intel Core i5-2500k and ASUS P8P67 Pro and 8GB kit of DDR1600 DDR3 RAM… I already bought a 750Watt PSU and H70 Hydro Cooler from Corsair and those are being shipped to my store for me to pick up.. but unfortunately the upgrade plans will have to be delayed.. 
There was a design flaw found in the P67 chipset regarding about the SATA Controller… I don’t know the details to the flaw but the fact that there is one that exists, I don’t feel comfortable enough to buy it now until they fix the issue… They won’t be shipping new boards till mid march early april, so my upgrading plan has been delayed until such time… I suppose this gives me the opportunity to save money for the 2600k and wait for the maximus IV extreme board..
Tomorrow’s weather is going to be shit… Big snow storm supposedly coming tonight and we’re expecting about 25-30cms of snow… Good thing I don’t have work tomorrow!!! ^_^
Anyway back to work I go.. stupid Cash duty. oh well. times flies when I’m on the computer all day.. heh
