Out of rez until 2008
Schools out for the year, at least the year of 2007. Exams are done and the end of the first semester is finally here. Life back at home is somewhat weird as most of my personal belonging are still inside residence, there is not much to do at home. I don’t need to carry my residence card around with me everywhere I go and don’t need to worry about locking myself out of my room. Home cooked meal is definitely better than cafeteria food.
Two and a half weeks of break at home then its back to residence to prepare for the second semester which is filled with non stop action of what we know as school! Class all 5 days a week and Mon-Wed ending at 17:10, Thurs at 16:30 and Fri at 15:20. With Friday classes being worse since its 9:00 to 15:25 with no break in between classes. You’ll be able to find my course time able in the “about-me” page as soon as I finish this post. Then you’ll get a glimpse of how my next semester schedule looks like.
My main gaming computer is still inside residence, which means no gaming for me for the next two and a half week. Then I’ll be going in swapping out my 36GB Raptor drive with probably a 500GB Western Digital SATA Drive and dual booting if not triple booting XP, Vista and maybe Ubuntu Linux. Maybe, maybe not depending on my mood when I move back in residence and depending how often I get distracted.. haha
Still alive and well.
So I’ve been slacking off on my blog posting lately, but I’m still alive and well! A lot has happened over the course of 2 months, such as my birthday was 5 days ago. I’m 20 years old! I got a few new games such as World of War Craft, Guitar Hero 2 and 3, Need for Speed Pro Street, World in Conflict, Half-Life 2 Black Box, Crysis, Call of Duty 4 and I’m hoping to pick up Unreal Tournament 3 tomorrow if I get the chance to go to the mall.
School work has been decent, dropped one of my courses which was Operating System since I Bombed the mid-term, so I shall deal with that next year and hopefully do much better. Other than that, the other hard course would be Critical Thinking and IT Concepts. English class is a joke. Math and Java are the only class I’m doing good in. Hopefully in the end I’ll end up passing all my courses so I can move onto my second semester courses!
In computer news, I upgraded my MacBook Pro to OSX 10.5, also known as Leopard. So far so good. Hadn’t run into any problems as of yet. I also started playing World of Warcraft even though I said I wouldn’t try it. It’s alright, I just don’t see the addiction to it like a lot of people have. It’s a costly game to play though since you are required to pay monthly or semi-annually for the game. My character is currently level 19 I think, I haven’t logged on in a while now.
Still contemplating whether or not I should go skydiving or not. It sounds fun, but costs alot of money, not to mention my semi fear of heights. We shall see when the time comes.
Anyway I think I’ve ranted on long enough. Until next time!
